With significant frontage on the Inland Island Highway west of Royston Road, Lot 10 forms the most visible of the corners that create the southern gateway to the Village.

While highway-related Commercial uses similar to Lots 7 and 8 are a "no brainer" on Lot 10 given its proximity to the Village, its adjacency to existing residential properties to the west and to the proposed golf course to the south suggests that Residential may be developed successfully there as well.

If Residential is developed on Lot 10, it is envsioned as multi-family rather than single family, to assist the Village in providing alternative housing opportunities to its predonimantly (existing) single family housing mix. It may take the form of a stand-alone townhouse neighbourhood on the northern portion of the Lot (10B), or be integrated into flexible live-work configurations that permit a business owner to live on his own premises.
