Lot 10 - Reinforcing the Village sense of place
Sharing the same gateway prominence as Lots 3, 7 & 8A, Lot 10 has much wider frontage and is closer to the Village core than the other gateways. As Cumberland and surrounding communities continue to grow, these gateway areas become increasingly important in attracting visitors and customers, because they provide a preview of what the Village has to offer.

Lot 10 - Illustrative Concept Plan, May 2008
Trilogy applied for (and was awarded) a zoning amendment on Lot 10, to change it from a rural designation, in order to permit commercial mixed-use businesses and multi-family homes to be developed there. Since Lot 10 backs onto an established residential neighbourhood, the re-zoning will allow the creation of a convenient, more dimensional neighbourhood that can be readily accessed by most Cumberland residents with or without a vehicle.
Photo: Since Lot 10 is very close to some of the newer neighbourhoods in Cumberland, businesses there are well-positioned to attract local home owners as well as Highway traffic
